Book Recommendations For End-Of-Summer Denial

Updated: Jan 29, 2022

This post is for anyone who's cramming in their summer reads like me to generally in denial that summer is coming to an end. Let me know which of the following romances you've read or hope to read soon.

A classic enemies to lovers romance about Olive and Ethan, the only two guests at a wedding who do not get food poisoning which results in them taking the place of the bride and groom on their honeymoon even though they cannot stand each other. Olive and Ethan suddenly find themselves switching from enemies to fake dating, what's the worst that could happen?

One of my favourite reads this year and one I wish I'd left for summer, so re-reading via audiobook was the next best thing! Click here for 2 months free audiobooks from Scribd.

The American (and once again much better copy) is available on Waterstones or Book Depository.

Escapism at its finest.

"Sharks In The Time Of Saviours beautifully intertwines the culture of Hawai’i into the narrative, almost forming a character within itself. Kawai Strong Washburn @theincrediblekdub so easily allows you to feel captivated and so connected to the Flores family, where we follow their lives through multiple points of view to capture their true dynamic."

"When they meet on the ship, Henley is shocked to discover that the real Graeme is nothing like she imagined - and the line between loathing and liking is thinner than a postcard. With her career dreams in sight and a growing attraction to the competition, Henley begins questioning her life choices. As their witty office banter turns into late night chats, Liya starts to think he might be the one man who truly accepts her. Liya keep running, or will she finally give love a real chance?
